We recently heard some shocking news: the classic garden gnome is dying out. Sales of the cheeky chappies have been in decline since 2006 and are now only half of what they once were. The poor fellas are even banned from appearing in Chelsea Flower Show gardens, and in a recent poll, only 6% of Brits admitted to having one in their garden. It’s about time they made a resurgence, starting with these fun woolly varieties: bring back the good old garden gnome, we say!
