How to Crochet a Granny Square

To make a crochet granny square you work in rounds from the centre outwards. Once you have learnt how to make a granny square, you can make lots and sew them together into cushion covers, bedspreads or garments, or simply keep adding extra rounds to your square to make a giant cosy blanket.
