What’s cuter than mini amigurumi animals? Mini amigurumi animals at a party, of course! For part one of our Party Animals Crochet-along, Hannah Cooper has designed an adorable meerkat, hedgehog and owl trio, with party hats, party bags and balloons in tow. Aren’t they adorable? They’re made simply, but you will be working a little popcorn stitch for the hedgehog and incorporating craft wire so the balloons can ‘float’ – just make sure you curl the ends so no sharp edges poke out.
